IDP Hype Train Week 10: Jamal Adams, Josh Bynes

IDP Hype Train Week 10: Jamal Adams, Josh Bynes

Players to Watch:

DE Akiem Hicks – Bears

Week 10 Opponent: Detroit Lions

TJ Lang looks to be the cog in that offensive line, when he is not in there they look exponentially worse entirely, look at the Minnesota game where Lang gets hurt and Minnesota destroys Stafford. This week I’d be surprised if Lang can go, so if you have a Bears defensive player, I’d be comfortable starting him!

DT Marcell Dareus – Jaguars

Week 10 Opponent: Indianapolis Colts

Division games can always be a challenge but with an extra week to prepare, I would expect to see him get some decent tackle numbers. Luck has only been sacked 10 times, so my optimism on Dareus’ output is limited but he could be a sneaky start if you have to start a DT player.

LB Blake Martinez – Packers

Week 10 Opponent: Miami Dolphins

From week to week we never know which Miami and Green Bay teams are going to show up, either way Blake continues to produce solid numbers and is still in the top 10 IDP linebackers, start feeling confident he’ll get his points.

***Note: He is questionable with an ankle injury, so keep an eye on the injury report***

CB Brian Poole – Falcons

Week 10 Opponent: Cleveland Browns

Baker’s thrown 7 interceptions in 7 games, so there’s that. With Williams at the helm, I still see Cleveland being a mess and leaning on the run game more and more, so expect Poole to get some tackles with potential for interceptions. Risky start but why not?

S Jamal Adams – Jets

Week 10 Opponent: Buffalo Bills

Adams continues to produce top 10 IDP numbers from the safety position, with only 2 down weeks so far this season. Going up against a Buffalo team that is wildly inconsistent, the only consistency is that they make IDP players look good, week in and week out. If possible, start all the Jets you can, they should give you decent production!

Players to Watchout for:

DE Mario Addison – Panthers

Week 10 Opponent: Pittsburgh Steelers

Big Ben’s only been sacked 11 times this year, as well as Addison played last week this feels like an Admiral Ackbar, in other words “It’s A Trap!”.

DT Jarran Reed – Seahawks

Week 10 opponent: LA Rams

I know Reed has been a top DT so far this season, but against one of the top teams in the NFC i’m steering clear, Reed is either boom or bust and this week I expect the latter.

LB Josh Bynes – Cardinals

Week 10 Opponent: Kansas City Chiefs

This is a sneaky matchup, as Bynes has been producing decent stats now that we are hot and heavy in bye weeks, unfortunately the Chiefs have not given much love to linebackers recently. In last weeks content vs. Cleveland, their best backer didn’t crack double digit points, and those linebackers have been producing well this season, so temper expectations of Bynes this week.

CB Janoris Jenkins – Giants

Week 10 Opponent: San Francisco 49ers

The Mullins era arrived in style, this may be the next great Mullins (haven’t had one of those since the Warriors Chris Mullins!), he looked good against a shoddy Raiders defense and the G-Men are no better. I’d steer clear of Jenkins just to be safe, we don’t know if last week was beginners luck or not.

S Budda Baker – Cardinals

Week 10 Opponent: Kansas City Chiefs

I know someone needs to get the stats but against the Chiefs I’ve been looking elsewhere, as there are plenty of better matchups this week.

Good luck this week!
