DE Demarcus Lawrence – Cowboys

Week 12 Opponent: Washington Redskins

Happy Thanksgiving all, I expect Lawrence to eat big on Thanksgiving. Colt McCoy hasn’t started (or been good) in a very long time, and on a short week to prepare I expect to see some flaws and that should open the door to a big week for the Dallas Defense. With some of the top defensive ends on bye week (LA, KC), this could be the best play of the week on the d-line.

DT Andrew Billings – Bengals

Week 12 Opponent: Cleveland Browns

Billings has not had good luck against the Browns in recent memory, though the last 4 games Billings has been a solid producer and with Cleveland putting more emphasis on the run game, we should see a solid amount of tackles for Billings if nothing else. With some good teams on Bye this week, I’m willing to take a chance with Billings even though he’s burned me in the past!

LB Avery Williamson – Jets

Week 12 Opponent: New England Patriots

In the last 8 weeks, Williamson’s’ only had one bad week, consistently in the top 10 at the position. Even though the Jets offense has hit a rough patch the last few weeks, their bye week came at a good time to take a breath and hit the reset button. Coming out of their bye, they will see a Patriots team that has been just as up and down but I still expect Williamson to see a great stat line for you this week.

CB Kenny Moore – Colts

Week 12 Opponent: Miami Dolphins

Moore has produced nicely 3 of the last 4 weeks, and I don’t know that it matters who is at the helm for Miami, Moore has a good chance to make it 3 straight weeks of CB1 production if you have to start a corner in your leagues, keep Moore in your considerations.

S Tyrann Mathieu – Texans

Week 12 Opponent: Tennessee Titans

If Mariota can’t go with that stinger he suffered against Indianapolis, Mathieu is a must-start. With Gabbert as his backup, the Texans defense should have a field day. The thing that surprises me is with all the attention put into that O-Line of the Titans, it really has had its share of ups and downs.

Players to Watch Out for:

DE Vic Beasley – Falcons

Week 12 Opponent: New Orleans Saints

Seeing the Saints twice a year, we have a fairly good idea of what to expect out of Beasley, and unfortunately, it’s not good. In the last 7 games against the Saints, he has an average of .3 sacks, and just under 2 tackles…nothing that gives me the interest in starting him at all.

DT Gerald McCoy – Buccaneers

Week 12 Opponent: San Francisco 49ers

McCoy had a great week 11, coming second at the position in scoring only behind the Steelers Javon Hargrave (another player I considered putting her). In 4 previous games against San Fran, McCoy has done nothing of value, all in all, it makes me look elsewhere if I have to start a DT.

LB Jordan Hicks – Eagles

Week 12 Opponent: New York Giants

In week 6 against the G-Men, he had 5 tackles, 5 assists, and a defended pass, all which added up to a mediocre fantasy week. There are plenty of better options this week, Hicks isn’t a guy I’d drop, just not starting him in any of my leagues this week.

CB Kyle Fuller – Bears

Week 12 Opponent: Detroit Lions

With all the players that produced against the Lions just the other week, Fuller was not one of them. This game will go one of two ways, Bears come into town and pummel the Lions again or Detroit has a sneaky right hook like we just saw against Carolina, whom their top corner Donte Jackson was a bust for fantasy owners. Either way, stay clear of Fuller this week!

S Harrison Smith – Vikings

Week 12 Opponent: Green Bay Packers

Week 2 against a banged up Rodgers, Smith only produced 6 tackles, 1 for loss and 2 assists. Smith has been a guy you can’t necessarily trust week in and out this season, I’d leave him on the bench if you have a better option.

Good luck this week!
